AquaHouse Turbo TAC Compact High capacity Scale Prevention System & Whole House Water Filter

The AquaHouse Turbo TAC is a compact High capacity scale prevention and whole house water filter system and is ideal for use in virtually all homes including large homes with flow rates up to 38 litres per minute, commercial settings, and light industrial usage. Compact design allows for the Turbo TAC unit to be installed in tight spaces including in standard kitchen cupboards. Proven scale prevention technology up to 99.6% effective, a genuine alternative to conventional water softeners.

How it works: 2 in 1 system

Stage 1:

The water passes through the outer layer of the filter which consists of an advanced radial flow carbon block filter to reduce levels of Chlorine, THM’s, PCB’s, and levels of heavy metals if present.

Stage 2:

The water then moves through the inner core of the filter where the scale prevention takes place without adding any salt or chemicals into the water. The filter does this by using a process called Template Assisted Crystallization (TAC), which conditions the water and converts the hardness minerals in the water (Calcium and Magnesium) into harmless, inactive microscopic crystals. This prevents the Calcium and Magnesium from bonding together to form limescale, and also over time will descale existing pipework and appliances. Because of this process no natural minerals are lost from the water, and no chemicals or salts are added either.

This filtration process prevents scale from forming in pipework and appliances, around sinks and washbasins, and will help prolong the life and efficiency of your appliances. The scale prevention media has been tested independently against the German DVGW protocol for scale prevention and has achieved up to 99.6% effectiveness rating.

Compact Design

Installation

The system comes complete with filters and supplied with 25mm (1" BSP) fittings. This is simply connected inline with your cold water mains pipe to treat the water for the whole home / premises. This is a very straight forward installation for any plumber.

Approvals

The TAC water filter media used in this system meets NSF 61 standard. This is the American standard for drinking water products which is world renowned and internationally recognised.
The scale prevention media has been independently tested up to 99.6% efficiency using the German DVGW test protocol for scale prevention.

Working Conditions:

Incoming Water Temp: 4 - 30°C

Working Pressure: 1 bar - 4.8 bar, a pressure limiting valve must be installed when pressure exceeds 4.8 bar (70psi).

Working Conditions: For indoor use - protection required when installed outdoors.

*Peak flow: The system will treat water up to the peak flow. The system can be run constantly at the lower end of the flow rate of 38 litres per minute for 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and will maintain constant scale protection, the system will also maintain scale protection at peaks in flow above this for several minutes but not constantly for hours/days at this flow rate.
