AquaHouse CTO5-CM Chloramine reduction Carbon Block water filter cartridge, fits all standard 10" water filter housings (cartridge diameter 2.5", length 10”). Suitable for use with drinking water, reverse osmosis systems, aquarium filters, water fed pole systems, and more.

Utilises a very high quality Catalytic Activated Carbon to achieve high filtration rates of both Chloramines and Chlorine from the water. Fits all standard 10" water filter housings (cartridge diameter 2.5").

AquaHouse CTO5-CM Chloramine Reduction Catalytic Carbon Block

The AquaHouse CTO5-CM Chloramine Reduction Carbon Block water filter cartridge utilises a very high quality Catalytic Activated Carbon to achieve high filtration rates of both Chloramines and Chlorine from the water. Fits all standard 10" water filter housings (cartridge diameter 2.5").

Chloramines are increasingly being used for water treatment on mains connected water supplies, however due to the stability of Chloramines in water it is considerably harder to filter compared to Chlorine. In comparison a standard carbon block which can remove 99% of chlorine will generally remove considerably less Chloramines, which makes the AquaHouse CTO5-CM superior for Chloramine reduction.

Quality coconut shell carbon can also reduce levels of VOCs (Volatile organic compounds), Organic Compounds, Pesticides, Herbicides, etc. 0.5 - 1 Micron particulate filtration also removes levels of rust, dirt, sand and sediment particles larger than 0.5 - 1 Microns in size.
