AquaHouse CTO5-HM Heavy Metal Reduction Carbon Block

Fits all standard 10" water filter housings (cartridge diameter 2.5", length 10”). Suitable for use with drinking water, reverse osmosis systems, aquarium filters, water fed pole systems, HMA pond dechlorinators, and more.
Heavy metal reduction:
  • Using a premium quality coconut shell carbon, the AquaHouse CTO5-HM filter can reduce trace levels of heavy metals from the water* Please note this is to be used with potable water only, do not use with water which is unsafe.
  • Filter life: Heavy metal reduction up to 15,000 litres / Replace every 6 months.
Chlorine reduction:
  • Coconut shell carbon also removes 99% of Chlorine VOCs (Volatile organic compounds), Organic Compounds, Pesticides, Herbicides and more.
  • Filter life: Chlorine reduction up to 50,000 litres / Replace every 6 months.
Particulate reduction:
  • 0.5-1 Micron particulate filtration also removes levels of rust, dirt, sand and sediment particles larger than 0.5-1 Microns in size.
