Reverse Osmosis Water Filter for Aquariums / Marine fish keeping

Produces very pure water ideal for use in aquariums and fish keeping. The unit is compact and easy to setup / store when not in use. It will produce very pure water with a low TDS, and can be upgraded to produce de-ionized water of 0 TDS with the de-ionized filter upgrade.

Pre - Filter 1: 5 Micron Sediment Water Filter
  • Removes high levels of rust and sediment particles from the water down to approximately 5 microns in size
Pre - Filter 2: Carbon Water Filter
  • Filters High levels of chlorine & many other chemical compounds
  • 1500 Gallon Capacity* (depending upon incoming water quality)
50 GPD Reverse Osmosis Membrane
  • High quality membrane
  • Removes very high levels of most impurities from the water
  • Provides very pure water with a very low TDS
  • Water pH is usually lowered after the reverse osmosis membrane due to the removal of alkaline earth minerals
Deionized Filter (Optional extra - additional cost)
  • Additional filter after the reverse osmosis membrane
  • Produces water with a very low/Zero TDS
  • Capacity dependent upon water hardness and usage - replace resin as required
Complete System Includes:
  • Reverse osmosis filter unit (complete with filters)
  • 2x 5 meter lengths of 1/4" tubing - for long reach from unit to fish tank
  • 1/4" Isolator valve - for easy water flow control
  • Mains water connector 3/4" BSP x 1/4" Push fitting (screws onto a standard 3/4" BSP threaded cold water outlet - such as for washing machines and hosepipe outlets)
Note: If you are not familiar with Reverse Osmosis the reverse osmosis process works by forcing the water through through a semi permeable membrane, this results in very pure water ideal as a base for your fish tank however please be aware due to the nature of the reverse osmosis process the filtration speed is slow (usually the speed of a trickle) - This is the same with all similar reverse osmosis systems as this is simply how the reverse osmosis process works. There is also a certain amount of water wasted during the reverse osmosis process where the impurities which are rejected by the membrane are flushed out of the system, this is also true of all similar reverse osmosis systems.
Please be aware of these two points when ordering.

Aquarium filter

Works great for topping up my fish tank. Easy to install and ph is good and purity seems fine. Just one question, how do you know when to change the filters?

Excellent product and customer service

Had this filter plus the DI unit to set-up my first reef tank. My tap water is 250ppm and ends up between 0 and 2ppm. Easy to plumb in and not expensive. A hell of a lot less hassle then going to your LFS and getting DI water, the quality of which can't be guaranteed.

Staff are very helpful and added additional taps so I could flush each filter in turn to get the best out of the unit. Just ordered more chlorine filters and DI resin.

Excellent filter

I bought this with some trepidation thinking it would be very complicated to use. It took me no time at all to set it up and start producing RO water. The filter is very well put together, came with excellent instructions and was delivered very quickly. I've since added an in-line TDS meter which is invaluable. I've been keeping marine fish for many years and I'm not sure why I hesitated so long before buying an RO filter. Highly recommended
