Great Value Filter for Fish Ponds

This filter was purchased to top up a fish pond and remove clorine from the mains water supply. The filter is as described, fast delivery via Royal Mail and simple instructions. As long as you use the supplied PTFE tape (I used 10 turns of PTFE per joint) the hose inlet and outlet ports do not leak. Works so well have just ordered two more replacement filters. Great product and good price.

Excellent value, well constructed.

This has been a valuable asset in keeping a wildlife pond topped up in a protracted period of hot dry weather. After exhausting the reserves in my 500 litre water butt I was watching with concern as the water level dropped in the pond. As a belt and braces exercise, I first slowly refilled the water butt with filtered water before then draining it again through the filter into the pond. This was probably unnecessary, but I wanted to be sure as much chlorine had been removed as possible.
The filter construction is solid, all components supplied are easily assembled. An earlier review mentioned having to use PTFE tape to seal the unions, The filter kit is now supplied with a roll of PTFE tape. The wall mounted bracket is supplied with four self tapping screws to fix into the filter cap. I had expected to use the bracket but prefer to have it asa portable unit which allows more flexible use. All in all this is an outstanding product at the price. Recommended.

Fast delivery easy to set up only problem I had was the connector fittings they screw to far in to filter so can't connect hose with out it coming off also had problems with water comeing out of connectors all was easy fixed with ptfe tape would have helped if had instructions with it all on all a good filter

Ordered the wrong one so went to depot and got it changed it for the 3 filter system and it's working great at least I know all the bad things that come via the tape has been removed thanks water filter man

Working and making my life easier

I fitted this unit under my sink and added a hozelock coupling and tap to it so water changes now is a hose and turn a tap, no more buckets of water and adding dechlorination chemicals then poring it in. Massive time saver when doing a 20ltr water change a week and no more chemical guess work. Top product for the modern busy family to time save

Good product

Prompt delivery, very easy to use, had mounted and working in ten minutes. Ideal for me as chlorine level from tap are not the highest anyway....

This product is great wonderful price, was unsure of how much capacity the filter would take before a replacement cartridge but one quick phone call and question was answered great service.
As a someone had commented before there was alittel leaking on the inlet however some plumbers tape and insuring that the unit was tight and level did the trick.
We purchased from Amazon a little water meter that clips into the inlet that counts up how much water is passing through the unit so that we will be fully aware of the need to buy a replacement f illter.
Over all top buy great value for money thank you.
