AquaHouse 12W UV Ultra Violet Water Filter - 4 Litres Per Minute (1GPM) - UV Water Treatment System

The 12W AquaHouse Ultra Violet UV water filter is ideal for point of use applications to sterilise drinking water by killing 99.999% of known bacteria and viruses. The AH-UV12 system is supplied complete with bulb, mounting brackets, transformer, fittings to connect to 1/4" pipe, and both UK 3 pin and Euro 2 pin plugs.

At 4 litres per minute flow rate this system is suitable for use with under sink water filters and water dispensers. The system is supplied with fittings to connect directly to 1/4" diameter water pipe, so that it can be connected easily in-line with an existing filter system (adapters are available for other tube sizes). It is recommended that the UV system is installed after at least a 5 micron filter as sediment particles may shadow microorganisms from the UV light. If you are installing the UV lamp after an existing water filter system you will usually already have a 5 micron filter, however please consider our "Small UV lamp sediment pre filter" if you are installing the lamp on its own.

The UV lamp / bulb used in this system will last for approximately 9000 hours between changes (1 year). The power supply transformer features a visual indiciator to show when the bulb has expired / in the rare event of bulb failure, for complete peace of mind.
