Compatible with any American style fridge which uses 1/4" water pipe, can replace the Samsung filters DA29-10105J, WSF100, HAFEX / EXP?, RS21DCSV, and many others by other manufacturers.

This filter comes with Push Fittings at either end, you simply push your existing Water Pipe straight into the cartridge and it will grip to make the connection, there is no need to use fiddly screw connectors.

Why does this filter last longer than others

Most standard fridge filters use only Carbon as a filtration media. Carbon is very effective at removing chemicals etc, however over time there is a potential for biofilm bacteria growth within a carbon only filter. This is why standard carbon only filters are recommend to be changed every 6 months. With our universal 12 month fridge filter KDF if used in addition to carbon which helps control bacteria growth within the filter, allowing for a longer filter life between changes.
