KDF replacement filter

This was new to me, so why not try it. Easy to fit. Been in a few weeks and all appears well, we shall see how it pans out, but so far, so good.

I am really impressed with this new filter, it was a breeze to fit, onto my B&Q inline filter tap, and the filtration is a great improvement on the original filter.

Very good service, change my filter every 6 months, We can tell the difference in the taste of water. We live in a hard water area, and it prevents scale in kettle,and iron.

Excellent filter and great service

Since Sodastream stopped selling the filter for their filter tap system, I have been buying my filters from Water Filter Man and the service has always been outstanding with fast free delivery. Their original 6 month filter was good but this 12 month one is even better. I live in a hard water area and this saves frequent descaling of the kettle, coffee machine etc. We also suffer a metallic taste to our water on occasions and this filters out all unpleasant tastes. I have just fitted the second of these filters after a 13 month use from the former one, although the water taste quality hadn't deteriorated very much. Finally, I consider the price very good value. Easy to fit

Hi!

The three stage filter mediums are clearly visible through the clear sided cartridge. It's useful that this filter can be supplied either with 6 or 10 mm fittings. Many are one or the other. My previous system used 10mm, so it was easy to retain the existing piping and fittings and simply replace the old filter unit with this one. Rather than have it loose standing, I purchased a couple of 50mm Terry spring clips and screwed these to the side of the kitchen cabinet under the sink. Now, when I need to replace the unit in a year's time, I will simply pull it out of the clips and pop in the replacement. Makes the whole setup neat and tidy. Don't forget to follow the instructions and run off water until it shows clear. There is a certain amount of dust from the carbon medium that needs to be cleared once only. Transaction and delivery was straightforward. Obviously cannot comment on the effective lifespan until I've used it for a year, but cannot see any reason to doubt the specs. Adrian

Scale reduction

Despite the claim to reduce scale, even after passing through this filter plus a separate jug filter the hot water boiler still gets limescale build up.

Easy replacement

First time I have used this filter. Very easy to replace old filter. Push fit so replaced in just a few minutes.

Tasty water

This cartridge has made a big difference. Had it in for 18 months and just now noticing that it is time to replace as the water is back to the old limescale tanged taste.

I have bought the kit from Water Filter Man some time ago and this is the second filter I have bought from them. Excellent service, no fuss, easy to install - once I worked out that I don't have to use my teeth!! and noticed the difference in the water instantly. I am now moving into another property and will certainly use Water Filter Man again.
