The pleated filter is designed to filter levels of rust & sediment and other particulates from the incoming water. Used for high flow rate applications, the pleated filter has minimal impact on water pressure

Ideal for drinking water filtration, reverse osmosis pre-filtration, fish keeping filters, biodiesel filtration, home brew, hot tubs, and more.

A great range of filters at a good price. Very helpful telephone advice about which was best for me. Although only 10 micron available, rather than 5 micron, the filter has performed well as a pre-filter on the input to my water tank. The fact that it is washable should extend its life during periods of very heavy rain and subsequent heavy sediment loads.
