Unofficial Compatible replacment filter, Compatible with the following:

Fisher and Paykel Fridges, bypasses the 836848 filter / an external fridge filter cartridge

Note: This filter differs from the official 836848 filter with its twist lock system, however this filter can be used to replace 836848 filter by instead connecting it inline with the 1/4" water pipe going into the system.

This filter has built in 1/4" Push Fittings at either end. You simply push your existing 1/4" Water Pipe straight into the cartridge and it will grip to make the connection, there is no need to use fiddly screw connectors. - you can simply take off your existing screw connectors and push your 1/4" pipe into either end of this cartridge to make the connection.

Carbon Filter

Improves taste and odour of the water. Removes high levels of chemicals including Chlorine, Organic Chemicals and Pesticides from the water. Manufactured by a Water Quality Association member, push fitting collet manufactured by NSF certified materials.
