Filter Specification
Filter housing:
High quality filter housing featuring full bore 1" ports and fittings for minimal flow restriction. 1" to 3/4" nipple connectors are provided with the system complete with two 3/4" to male hosepipe connectors. Use your standard hosepipe fittings to connect onto either side of the cartridge.
Dechlorinating filter cartridge:
  • High quality carbon block filter reduces levels of Chlorine, Organic Compounds, Pesticides, Herbicides.
  • 5 Micron rated particulate filtration also removes levels of rust, dirt, sand and sediment particles to 5 Micron in size, for greater water clarity
  • Extra dust and solids holding capacity
  • Low pressure drop, high performance cartridge
  • Non leeching carbon ash, high quality (to drinking water standard) - safe for both you and your fish

Fantastic build quality

Totally amazed how good this filter build quality is for the money. Will definitely use this company again, hope this knocks back the phosphate in the water supply - maybe a long shot but won't be the products fault.

Koi pond water de chlorination filter was rapidly despatched and received in the expected time. Filter wall fixing bracket and inlet/outlet connections were fitted with relative ease. However, it should be noted that the filter bracket fixing holes in the filter top were not pre threaded, and required a little skill and muscle to start and tighten the crews. Pre threaded holes would be a great improvement. The instruction on installing the actual filter do not reflect the reality, there are no markings on filter cartridge as to what is the top as is stated in the instructions. Fortunately filter will install either way, so instruction is irelavant, and could be removed. Other than these two minor points, I very impressed with the quality of manufacture and materials used. Filter unit was easily installed and commissioned with ease. It may not be necessary, but I used PTFE thread tape in the hose fittings just in case. Can highly recommend this unit to discerning fish enthusiasts.
